Ethiopian PM downsizes cabinet, 50 per cent women assume key positions

Addis Ababa. – For the second time since becoming Ethiopia’s Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed formed a new cabinet today. But unlike the first one, PM Abiy downsized the number of ministers from 28 to 20 and equalised the gender composition to 50 percent women, and 50 percent men.
