MDC Alliance councillor con fined for forging nomination papers

By Staff Reporter MARONDERA: A newly elected MDC Alliance councillor in Marondera Central was this week fined for forging Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) nomination papers in June. Ward 10 councillor, Jimmy Jalifu, pleaded not guilty but was convicted at the Marondera Magistrates’ Courts for using fraudulent nomination papers.
